Job Description

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced IT Director to lead a dedicated IT team, overseeing the security and compliance of our cloud-based systems and services. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity, FedRAMP compliance, and strong management skills. As IT Director, you will guide efforts to maintain the highest standards of system security and operational efficiency, while fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. You will be responsible for managing the overall health and performance of both current IT systems and future projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all IT operations, ensuring network security and federal compliance requirements are met.
Design, implement, and maintain robust IT infrastructures, including hardware, software, networks, and data centers.
Identify and evaluate the need for system upgrades, new configurations, and tools.
Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, CMMC, and NIST SP-800-171 by conducting risk assessments, developing security measures, and safeguarding sensitive data.
Establish IT policies and systems that support the organization's broader strategic goals.
Collaborate with various departments to understand their technology needs and ensure solutions are effective.
Manage purchasing of cost-effective and efficient technological resources, overseeing budget and expenditures.
Maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring they meet organizational requirements and compliance standards.
Oversee IT project management, ensuring timely, within-budget, and quality delivery.
Work closely with the CFO, COO, and Sales Teams to generate reports and assess project performance.
Report and escalate any risks or issues to senior management as needed.
Maintain comprehensive documentation on IT system developments, future investments, and existing assets.
Manage internal investigations regarding any violations or losses, ensuring adherence to policies.
Assist in emergency management and contingency planning as needed.
Lead, mentor, and provide support to a team of IT professionals, encouraging their growth and success.
Take on additional responsibilities and duties as needed, adapting to changes in business requirements.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in IT management, particularly within federal contract environments.
In-depth knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance requirements such as FedRAMP and CMMC.
Familiarity with software such as Cognos, Deltek Costpoint, CRM tools, and Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage.
Experience with cloud-based IT services and systems.
Certifications such as COMPTIA+, VMware, CISSP, CISM, or CIPP are highly desirable.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Willingness to travel as required.
Must pass a pre-hire drug screening and background check.
