Job Description
Job Summary:
1. Execute nursing functions in the care of new mothers and their newborns.
2. Assist and support pregnant women in their healthy labor processes.
3. Administer medications and intravenous fluids to mothers.
4. Provide nursing care to newborn babies.
5. Continuously monitor the health of new mothers and their babies.
6. Work in a fastpaced environment in the Mother/Baby unit.
7. Participate in learning mentoring and team building activities.
8. Work in a hospital with Level III maternal designation and highquality indicators.
9. Collaborate with a team of medical professionals including specialists OB hospitalists and anesthesiologists.

Requirements:
1. Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
2. Licensed RN Registered Nurse.
3. BLS Basic Life Support is required within 30 days of hire.
4. Specialized field of study should be nursing.
