Perform daily equipment checks, warm-ups, and maintenance to ensure all systems are functioning correctly.
Accurately set up patients and deliver prescribed radiation doses.
Create and manage patient immobilization devices and radiation field-shaping blocks.
Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff, and visitors by following strict safety protocols.
Department Equipment: 3 Treatment Vaults each equipped with state-of-the-art Varian-True-beam Accelerators. - 1 CT Scanner GE Discovery with bore size (16). - 1 Brachytherapy Procedure Suite. - Record and Verify Software for external beam: Aria 16.0 - Treatment planning system: Eclipse (Varian) the high-performance windows-based treatment planning system for cancer radiotherapy involving 3-D treatment planning and virtual simulation system that combines advanced graphics with rapid dose calculation. - Most external beam treatments are using Rapid Arc. Certain types of cases are treated with 3-D conformal techniques. - MIM Software for Dosimetry planning - Bravos-Brachytherapy Afterloader

About You

Be able to do the job as described.
ARRT, California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certificate
Graduated from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
Hold a California Fluoroscopy license if required.

Salary: $ 77.00 82.00 Per Hour
