Job Title: Order Entry/ Customer Service (will train the right candidate)

Company/Location: Nico Products / Minneapolis MN

Shift: 1st Shift, hours to be determined, M-F

Position Purpose Responsible for entering customer orders, addressing inquiries, and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction. This role involves accurately entering orders, customer requests, and resolving issues that arise during the order process. Serve as primary liaison between our customers and The Lindgren Group. This involves working directly with all internal departments to ensure customers non-production needs and requests are handled in a timely and professional manner

DUTIES :

  • Uphold company policies and procedures
  • Support outside sales representatives with pertinent information regarding activity in their assigned sales areas. Service requirements, quality issues, new opportunities, complaints, etc.
  • Support inside customer service and production functions with any unique or special handling or shipping requirements from outside customers
  • Responsible for understanding and being able to back up the timely and accurate billing of products and or services, provided the company. May help prepare and mail sales invoices daily, reconcile sales orders with sales invoices to ensure all completed orders are billed on a weekly basis.
  • Research credits - pull paperwork and work with internal departments for best resolution
  • Cross train as back up for customer service personnel in order entry, shipping, quoting, and expediting
  • Inside sales with direct account responsibility for management of customers/accounts, including site visits and account reviews as needed with the approval of the VP of Sales and Marketing
  • Conduct contract review when required
  • Conduct price review when required
  • Enters customer purchase order information into computer system to create production paperwork for processing orders.
  • Ensures concise and accurate translation of finishing specs and instructions are transferred from purchase orders to production paperwork. It may be necessary to involves sales, quality, or calling the customer directly if relevant information is missing.
  • Matches purchase orders with paperwork from completed jobs to assist proper billing
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

SKILLS REQUIRED (Skills that re most desired):

  • High School diploma or GED; Associates degree or technical certification in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience in the plating field or similar experience preferred
  • CEF/NASF certification preferred
  • Plating experience helpful
  • Ability to maintain a regular and reliable attendance record
  • Fluently read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Must be a US citizen or have authorization to work in the US
  • Must be able to read a ruler/tape measure and analog clock
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and quality standards.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and accurately complete paperwork
  • Strong math skills (basic and geometry)
  • Previous experience and working knowledge of quality systems processes and procedures required (ISO and Nadcap)
  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to maintain composure in stressful situation; Whatever it takes mentality with a strong desire to satisfy the customer
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to give clear instructions
  • Working knowledge of our plating process characteristics and limitations
  • Ability to manage multiple jobs at the same time
  • Ability to work independently without supervision

Shift (5 day work weeks) & Wage:

1st Shift: Hours to be determined - Monday-Friday + OT as needed) $24.00/hour

(Reviews: 60 days and 6 months, then twice a year, which may come with a rate increase, providing the employee meets company and performance standards)

Signing Bonus: $1500 (current employees are not eligible for signing bonus)
