Position Purpose:
Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for a variety of tasks as it relates to loans for customers of the Bank.
Key Accountabilities, Responsibilities and Expectations:
•Provide various loan support functions. Duties may include the following: Servicing closed loans, payment processing, primary or back up to various loan maintenance, customer insurance support, vault support and system (Jack Henry Silverlake) support.
•Customer service using various methods, answering phone, emails, and letters.
•Maintain regular contact with the Loan Operations Coordinator regarding the status of various issues being encountered, guidance on Department compliance and customer service issues, as well as the status of other assigned projects.
•Assist other loan operations staff on assigned tasks as required, to alleviate backlogs and/or to meet established deadlines as it pertains to commercial, consumer, or mortgage loans.
•Provides administrative support as needed and required.
•To maintain regular contact with the Coordinator regarding the status of operational and customer service issues.
•To respond to customer (internal/external) questions in a timely, professional and efficient manner regarding all loans related issues.
•To process loan activities according to prescribed departmental procedures
•To perform accounting/reconciliation activities
•To compile monthly/quarterly/annual data for reports for Internal and External sources
•To perform file maintenance and transactions on accounts as necessary
•To interact with System's support personnel to resolve technical loan operation's questions.
•To perform duties as assigned by Department Team Lead
