Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of event planning and execution. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a creative problem-solving mindset to ensure the success of various events.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their event objectives, target audience, and budget requirements.
• Develop detailed event proposals and presentations to secure business.
• Manage client expectations throughout the planning process.
• Identify and secure suitable event venues, catering, and vendors.
• Develop event timelines, logistics plans, and detailed budgets.
• Coordinate all aspects of event production, including audio-visual equipment, decor, and staffing.
• Manage on-site operations to ensure smooth event execution.
• Lead and mentor a team of event coordinators, assigning tasks and responsibilities.
• Delegate tasks effectively and monitor progress towards project goals.
• Track event expenses against budget allocations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage financial adjustments.
• Develop marketing strategies to promote events to target audiences.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create event branding and communications.

Essential Skills

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected situations.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and client experience.
• Proficiency in event management software and tools.

Work Environment

The work environment includes multiple buildings on-site at the Sunnyvale Campus. The position requires on-site presence 5 days a week from 7 AM to 4 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00
