We are seeking a Director of Women's Services to lead the women's services programs. The Director of Women's Services will work closely with the Vice President of Community Programs to provide dynamic programmatic and administrative oversight to our women's services programs. This is a highly visible role which includes interacting with and cultivating donors, collaboration with other directors within the organization, and leadership of a dynamic team of client advocates and peers to provide life-changing programs to assist women in ending their homelessness.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide programmatic and administrative oversight of the Women's Service Program, including two transitional housing campuses and one graduate housing campus for women experiencing homelessness.
  • Provide direction in case management sessions as needed and coordinate all ancillary services for clients in crisis and nearing exit from Women's Services programs as required. This includes coordinating life skill classes, and any other services deemed necessary to transition the residents out of homelessness.
  • Develop and facilitate the implementation of gender responsive programming.
  • Ensure that client charts are complete and accurate.
  • Ensure that residents follow all facility rules and regulations to provide a safe atmosphere for all residents.
  • Track all residents' services for the purpose of measuring the success of the programs in accordance with program goals and objectives.
  • Make sure all areas are in accordance with health department regulations and that all inspections receive satisfactory marks.
  • Provide oversight of all program scheduling for Burckle Place, Burckle III and Burckle West.
  • Procurement and inventory of all needed supplies for all facilities.
  • Supervise and evaluate the Women's Services Coordinator, Resident Advocates and Peer Specialists.
  • Serve as a liaison with other programs within the agency and the community including attendance at monthly program meetings and select community meetings.
  • On call as needed for emergencies and night inspection after hours.
  • Oversee all intake processes/procedures for the program ensuring effective placement of clients.
  • Oversee transition/exits of all residents.
  • Coordinate the scheduling/placement of external and internal therapeutic staff.
  • Coordinate all special events for all Women's Services programs.
  • Oversee facility maintenance including the upkeep of all living units, food pantry, therapeutic rooms and storage areas.
  • Provide guidance and advisement in the creation of programming that is responsive to the unique needs of women served throughout the agency.
  • Work with Volunteer Coordinator to create and facilitate one-time service projects for business and community groups, as well as individual recurring volunteer service.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Vice President of Community Programs according to business needs.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate must have a proven record of professional growth as a leader and possess the following:

  • Master's degree from an accredited university or college with a major in counseling, social work, psychology, criminal justice, nursing or a related human services field plus, two or more years of full-time or equivalent professional experience serving adults with serious mental health challenges, or bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and four or more years of full-time or equivalent case management experience serving adults with serious mental health challenges required.
  • Two or more years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Experience and comfort with public speaking.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, including donors and volunteers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Computer skills, including a working knowledge of Office 2016 or higher required.
  • Requires ability to operate business equipment used daily within the organization.
  • Requires ability to learn and use whatever documentation system appropriate to their program, including electronic databases to document case notes.
  • Requires completion of agency case management training within the first 90 days of employment.

Compensation details: 60000-80000 Yearly Salary
