Scotus Central Catholic will have an opportunity in 2025-26 to join the leadership team of the school. This important position has the ability to positively impact the students and staff of the school.
Activities Director- The activities director is the face of the Scotus Central Catholic athletic program. Listed below are the expectations of that position.
1. Reports to the principal.
2. Responsible for all day-to-day operations of the Scotus athletic program.
3. Provides supervision of coaching staff and is involved in hiring staff.
4. Creates a budget for each sport.
5. Responsible for upkeep of all Scotus athletic facilities in coordination with the head of maintenance.
6. Meet with all coaching staff at the beginning of each sports season. Address any concerns and develop a plan for the season.
7. Conduct mid-season review of season to that point and address any current needs.
8. Responsible for end of season review with head coach and addressing future needs of the program.
9. Meet regularly with the strength and conditioning teacher to discuss the state of the program.
10. Create an online calendar for summer gym usage.
11. Use social media or Columbus Catholic Lines to promote the sports programs at Scotus.
12. Work closely with NSAA to meet all reporting deadlines. This includes ensuring all head coaches have met NSAA expectations.
13. Direct supervision of the student body and spectators attending athletic contests.
14. Responsible for all scheduling of athletic contests.
